Marketing- Copywriter- Future Opportunities

We're seeking Copywriters with a passion for creating copy that will capture the David Weekley Homes' voice while conveying Our Purpose of Building Dreams, Enhancing Lives.

To be successful in this position, you will be a capable of both creative ideation and rapid execution. As a Copywriter, you can expect to deliver content for branded collateral, digital advertising, webpages and occasionally traditional advertising.

The Work:

* Develop and create effective, engaging content for our field markets while adhering to our established brand voice and guidelines

* Contribute and participate in planning and brainstorming sessions and meetings

* Edit, proof, update, and write internal and external communications, advertising, web-based writing assignments and articles across various platforms and media.

* Ensure projects are completed with high quality and on schedule

* Manage multiple projects and remain flexible through revisions while maintaining a positive attitude

* Collaborate effectively with Team Members throughout the company

Qualifications

* Writers with professional experience in marketing, copywriting, internal communications, media relations, social media and blogging

* Strong word processing and familiarity with standard style guides

Candidates should also demonstrate the following soft skills:

* Customer-oriented attitude with strong follow up

* Demonstrate strong sense of urgency and constant communication with customers

* A self-starter, conscientious about doing quality work on a timely basis

* Eager to take on challenges and learn new things to continually develop skills

* Excel in handling multiple tasks simultaneously and efficiently while meeting deadlines with high-quality work

* Team players who enjoy collaboration, but who are also able to work independently

Additional Information

* Copywriting positions are based at our Houston, TX headquarters near I-10 Katy Freeway & 610 West Loop S.

* Positions are for full-time employees, not freelance/contract.
