Digital Marketing, Marketing Strategy
$130,000-$180,000/year (+ potential performance bonuses). Contract (1099). Fully remote.
About Us:We have a nine-figure run rate DTC brand approaching $150K/day in ad spend across all channels - one of the fastest-scaling DTC brands in the market right now. We're not building toward it. We're already there, and we're moving.
The Mission:Turn research into concepts that win, and turn results into judgment. You produce volume, absorb feedback at speed, and develop the instincts of someone who has watched millions in spend flow through their own ideas.
The Seat:You work directly and daily, 1-on-1, with a Senior Creative Strategist who spent over $1.5M in the last 30 days. You're in the room for the calls that decide things - which concepts get greenlit, which hook gets scaled, which gets cut at $400 spend, why a winner stopped working on a Tuesday. Your work gets torn apart line by line, every week, by someone doing this at a scale almost nobody in this industry gets near.
Most strategists wait three years and two job changes to see what you'll see in your first ninety days.
- Concept development. Generate ad concepts, angles, and hooks against active research. Volume is the expectation, not the exception.
- Creative briefs. Write briefs that production and creators can execute without a follow-up call - reference visuals, hook lines, script beats, shot lists.
- Production coordination. Brief creators and editors, track deliverables, and keep the pipeline moving so nothing sits.
- Performance analysis. Break down what won and what flopped, and why - hook rate, hold rate, thumbstop, CTR, spend efficiency - and turn the read into the next round of concepts.
- Competitive and market research. Live in the ad libraries. Track what's working across the category and adjacent categories, and bring it back with a point of view.
- Iteration. Take winners and build the next twenty versions. Most of scale comes from iterating on what already works.
- Experience as a Creative Strategist for a DTC brand, ideally 7+ figures
- $100K+ in spend behind ads you personally concepted
- You actually love making ads and studying what works
- You can articulate why an ad won or flopped - with specifics, not vibes
- You understand marketing psychology fundamentals
- You're hungry to build your skills and become the best at this
- Mentorship you can't buy. Direct 1-on-1 with a strategist deploying $1.5M+ every 30 days. Weekly concept reviews, line by line.
- The comp ramps fast. Base plus uncapped performance bonuses. Our strategists average $10K/month by month two and $15K/month by month four. Our top strategist is making $60K this month.
- Real budget behind your ideas. Millions in monthly ad spend as your testing ground - not a $50/day test ad set that never reaches significance.
- Your ideas actually ship. No approval committee, no backlog where concepts go to die. You write it, it gets made, it goes live, you see the data.
- Feedback in days, not quarters. At this spend level you see statistically real results almost immediately. That's how you build judgment ten times faster than anywhere else.
- A clear path to Senior Strategist with a team under you. We promote from the inside and the runway is wide open.
- Fully remote. We care about the work, not the hours you were visible.
- You want to be handed a template and a brief. You bring the ideas here.
- You're precious about your concepts. Most of them will lose, and you'll be told why.
- You want a comfortable volume of work. The pace is real.
- You need a title before you get the scope. You earn the seat by proving it.
- You see this as "just a job." We want someone obsessed with the craft who wants to grow with a fast-scaling company.
Sending two things: (1) your portfolio with proof of spend on whichever ads you can share, and (2) a Loom walking us through your creative process, plus a breakdown of one ad that won and one that flopped, and why. Show us how you think, not just what you made.
