Houston Oasis Programs Coordinator Description
- Summary This position promotes and encourages the employee engagement initiative, community impact goals, and increases awareness of exciting HP products and HP related products, by providing a creative, interactive experience. Qualifications and Skills required

  • Leading as an HP Brand ambassador with a great “customer support” helpful, can-do attitude.
  • Proficiencies in Android and iOS mobile devices, MS Office Suite, and Adobe Suite, Canva, HP Smart and HP Click programs.
  • Proficiency in printer hardware and software and the ability to learn as technology advances
  • Ability to work independently, as well as collaborating with various HP Teams for personal and HP related projects in addition to supporting Houston Site Council employee and community impact events.
  • Portrait and Event Photography:
    Adobe Creative Cloud, Canon DSLR, iOS, Digital Enhancements.
  • Ability to organize events
Deliverables and/or Milestones
  • Support users of the Digital Oasis equipment by answering questions and demonstrating how to use the equipment. This can include giving tours of small groups.
  • Support Houston Site Council events such as, but not limited to Take our Children to Work, STEM Days, and College Connect Days.
  • Provide memorable experiences, building genuine connections with Houston employees through service/print support during their peaks and valleys of life moments (i.e. graduations, baby showers, weddings, holidays, etc.).
  • Maintain supplies for the printers including loading supplies into equipment and tracking and ordering when needed.
  • Managing day-to-day operations, forecasting, planning, budgeting/purchasing, and partnering/planning with BRGs and Site Council for special events.
  • Conduct simple maintenance of computer and printer equipment and software and contact support as needed to keep equipment operational.
  • Complete maintenance checks on a bi-weekly basis of site-located wide-format printers/plotters and coordinate service and replenishment of parts/ink as needed.
  • Assist or coordinate events that either showcase the Digital Oasis offerings or support that Houston Site Council employee engagement efforts.
  • Partnering on special projects, digital and in-person workshops with WW Oasis Community/Leaders.
  • Create content for site-wide communications regarding the Houston Digital Oasis and its programs
  • Collaboration with various HP teams for internal, employee-facing product launch events in the Digital Oasis space.
  • Drive year-over-year growth in Oasis utilization, event attendance, and recognition of program.
  • Offer creative problem solving for Oasis users with urgent needs.
  • Create and maintain product information and use instructions for identified activities.
  • Create, maintain and constantly update information in the space and around the site on upcoming activities and events.
  • Managing and maintaining an exciting showcase of products and service offerings, highlighting the latest and greatest HP has to offer.
  • Be an ambassador of the brand, the products and the space.
  • Driving site initiative of increasing in-person site attendance, facilitating opportunities for site traffic, with the Digital Oasis being a key site benefit.
  • Continually seeking new opportunities to leverage the Digital Oasis to support the HP way and nurture local site culture.
  • Providing design and print service for 2D/3D requests.
  • Graphic Design services and assistance for personal requests and HP related projects.
  • Management and Content Creation of Digital Oasis Sharepoint, proficient in web design.
Education & Experience Recommended
  • Four-year in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
  • Typically has 4 - 7 years of work experience, preferably in employee communications, product marketing, print, or a related
