The Sales Marketing Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based at Double Tree by Hilton Houston Medical Center Hotel & Suites in Houston, TX. This position supports the sales and marketing team by coordinating daily activities such as preparing proposals, maintaining sales databases, and assisting with client communications. The role includes helping plan and execute events, site tours, and promotions to drive group, corporate, and leisure business.
The coordinator assists with creating and updating marketing materials, managing content for digital channels, and tracking campaign performance. Daily responsibilities also involve project coordination, monitoring deadlines, organizing files and reports, and collaborating with internal departments to ensure a consistent guest-focused message.
- Strong Communication and Writing skills to interact with clients, prepare proposals, and develop clear marketing materials.
- Sales experience or aptitude in supporting sales initiatives, managing leads, and contributing to revenue-generating activities.
- Event Planning and coordination abilities to assist with on-site events, site visits, and promotional activities.
- Project Management skills to organize tasks, track timelines, and support multiple concurrent sales and marketing initiatives.
- Proficiency with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office), CRM or sales systems, and basic digital marketing tools.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to follow processes in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional hotel teams and maintain a professional, guest-focused demeanor.
- Prior experience in hospitality, sales, or marketing is preferred; an associate or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, hospitality, or a related field is beneficial.
