Account Manager

Next Level Thinking is seeking an Account Manager who will manage several of our client relationships from day one. Your job is to use your experience in marketing and business development to see what makes a business stand out, then partner with our team to solve their biggest marketing challenges. You'll own the account relationship. You'll lead strategy meetings, keep projects on track, write brand content, and coordinate with our creative partners. Most days you'll work remotely. Some days you'll meet clients in person (Houston area).

• Learn your client's business inside and out so you can participate meaningfully in strategy discussions and lead marketing initiatives.
• Coordinate our research process (brand audits, competitor analysis, customer interviews) to uncover what actually makes our clients different from their competitors.
• Bridge strategy and execution. When we shift from discovery to action, you'll help translate our findings into a marketing roadmap.
• Own implementation. You'll keep projects moving, facilitate monthly check-ins, manage timelines, and make sure everything is delivered on schedule.
• Write and coordinate content (blogs, emails, social media) so it all points to the same strategic story.
• Work with our designers and technical teams to ensure consistency across all digital touchpoints.
• Monitor results and report back on what's working and what needs to be tweaked.

• You have at least 3-4 years in an agency setting managing multiple clients simultaneously. You know how to juggle moving pieces and keep different stakeholders informed.
• You have a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, Journalism, or a related field.
• You have experience with CRM and sales processes, and understand how sales and marketing work together.
• You're comfortable with Word Press, email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Hub Spot, Constant Contact), social scheduling tools, data analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, Dash This), and project management software (com, Wrike).
• Proficiency with still and video production is a huge plus.
• You can write clearly and think strategically. Technical writing matters; so does the ability to distill complex ideas for clients.
• You understand data. You can look at analytics and spot what matters.
• You're a self-starter who thrives with autonomy but also knows when to ask for help. You care about getting things right.
• You want to work in a smaller, tight-knit environment where collaboration and honesty matter more than politics.
