The newly established Center for Bioprocessing (C4B), located at Levit Green in the Texas Medical Center, underscores our commitment to innovation and excellence in the biotech industry.
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Marketing Specialist to join our Houston team.
We are seeking a highly motivated Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about event planning and content creation. You will play a key role in coordinating event logistics, managing relationships with scientific associations, and producing engaging content to support our marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Event Planning & Execution:
Coordinate logistics for regional and national events, including Bio Connects, Lunch & Learns, and industry trade shows. Support on-site execution, including booth setup, registration tracking, and material management. - Content Creation:
Draft and edit compelling content for social media channels, newsletters, and promotional materials to enhance brand visibility. - KOL & Association Engagement:
Establish and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), academic institutions, and relevant scientific associations to build brand credibility. - Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with technical, sales, and operations teams to support product launches, campaigns, and outreach strategies. - Marketing Operations:
Assist with administrative marketing tasks, budget tracking, and lead management to support overall business objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Strong team player with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Must be based in or able to commute to Houston, TX.
- Background in Life Sciences (Biology, Biochemistry, Biophysics, or related fields).
- Demonstrated experience in event planning or trade show logistics.
- Portfolio or examples of previous content creation (social media, blog posts, or marketing collateral).
- Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., Hub Spot, Zoom Info, or similar).
- Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva or Adobe Creative Suite).
- Familiarity with digital marketing and CRM platforms (Hub Spot, Sales Force, etc.)
