Get Me Links is an SEO and link-building agency that partners with digital marketing agencies, and we’re building content into a core growth engine. As Content Lead, you’ll own our content operation, both the team and the direction.
You Tube is our primary platform, so you need to speak its language: hooks, retention, thumbnails, titles, pacing, and what makes people click and stay. You’ll also own the content on our website, making sure it’s cohesive with our videos and turns visitors into leads. You don’t need to edit the videos yourself. You’ll know what good looks like, direct the people who make it, and make the call on what’s ready and what will convert.
- Own our You Tube strategy: what we publish, why, and how each video performs
- Own our website content, including pages, blog, and landing pages, keeping it consistent with our videos and optimized to convert
- Repurpose content across social, Linked In, Reddit, and email
- Review work from editors, writers, and designers before it goes out, with clear, specific feedback that makes it better
- Build campaigns from content that generate leads for our services
- Run content sprints, set priorities, and keep the team shipping on schedule
- Coach your team so standards rise and the same notes don’t come up twice
- Track performance, learn what worked and why, and improve with every upload and page
- Keep everything consistent with the Get Me Links style and voice
A content leader who lives and breathes You Tube.
You watch a video and immediately see that the music doesn’t match the mood, the intro drags, or the thumbnail won’t get the click, and you can explain how to fix it. You follow the channels and trends where our audience spends time, and you come with ideas, not just execution. You care more about solving problems than about any single tool, and you work well independently on a remote team.
Requirements- Proven experience growing or managing a You Tube channel, ideally for a business, agency, or B2B brand
- Fluency in You Tube: analytics, retention, CTR, thumbnails, titles, and the algorithm
- Experience creating or managing website content (web pages, blog, or landing pages) that drives conversions
- Experience leading editors, writers, or creators and making their work better rather than doing it all yourself
- A portfolio or show reel of real work, with results (please include it)
- Experience marketing services: making an intangible offer clear and trustworthy
- Reliable internet and availability for the required overlap hours
- Have experience in SEO, link building, or digital marketing agencies
- Use AI tools regularly to work faster and smarter
- Have run campaigns on Reddit, Linked In, or other community-driven platforms
- Have worked with a remote, distributed team before
We want to see the work, not just talk about it, so every applicant goes through the same three steps:
- Application + portfolio. For two or three videos, web pages, or campaigns, tell us what you made and what your role was, how it performed (views, retention, CTR, traffic, leads), and what you learned and would do differently.
- A short interview to talk through your experience, how you lead a content team, and how you decide what’s worth publishing.
- A paid trial test: we’ll share a sample You Tube video with some deliberate problems. You’ll write feedback to its editor and outline how you’d turn it into a campaign, including how it would tie into our website. This shows us your eye, how you coach, and how you think strategically.
