Medical Billing and Coding Jobs in Houston, TX

Skills Needed: We need you to:
• Provide updates and assistance related to medical coverage and eligibility
• Maintain ongoing communication with members regarding the status of claims
• Accurately inform members of prescription medications coverage
• Maintain documentation of status within multiple computer programs simultaneously
• Place outbound calls to members whose plans are nearing expiration
• Adnce to company and legal standards regarding Protected Health Information (PHI), Personal Identifiable Information (PII) and Personnel Transaction Identifier (PTI) logic and analytical skills in problem solving

Qualifications
Ideal candidates have:
• High School Diploma required
• An Associate’s Degree, ideally within a healthcare related field preferred
• 2-3 years’ experience in a back-office healthcare position; billing, patient advocacy, admissions, coordinating, insurance contact center, etc. preferred
• Other customer support or contact center experience will be considered
• Strong analytical and computer skills
• The ability to work Monday – Sunday from 8:00am – 8:00pm, on a rotating schedule
