This is a volunteer opportunity provided by Taproot Foundation, a nonprofit creating social change through pro bono connections.
Scope of WorkA review of current governance policies and a best-practice checklist that identifies gaps and prioritizes recommended changes to strengthen accountability, transparency, and trust. Specific documents and scope will be defined collaboratively during volunteer interviews.
Strengthening governance will boost accountability and public trust in The Faisal Foundation, reinforcing credibility as a leader in cleft care and supporting effective partnerships and stewardship of resources that help infants and families receive life-saving care.
Details will be provided during volunteer interviews. We will work with the volunteer to define scope, share necessary documents, and arrange time with board/staff for clarifying questions so recommendations are practical and actionable.
