Position

Summary

Responsible for developing, managing, and expanding community partnerships that increase access to WFD services, education, supportive resources, and career opportunities for individuals served by GWH. Serves as the primary liaison between GWH and community organizations, educational institutions, nonprofit agencies, corporate partners, and workforce stakeholders.

Oversee the development and implementation of the Community Hub, creating a centralized network of resources that connect individuals with employment, training, supportive services, volunteer opportunities, and community programs. The coordinator will also identify strategic partnerships that strengthen workforce access while increasing community engagement and organizational impact.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Community Partnership Development
  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with community organizations, employers, educational institutions, government agencies, and nonprofit organizations.
  • Identify partnership opportunities that support workforce development, career pathways, supportive services, and community engagement.
  • Conduct outreach meetings and presentations to establish new partnerships.
  • Maintain regular communication with partners to strengthen relationships and ensure successful collaboration.
  • Represent GWH at networking events, workforce meetings, community events, and partnership councils.
  • Develop Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) and partnership agreements when appropriate.
Community Hub Management
  • Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing management of the GWH Community Hub initiative.
  • Maintain an up-to-date directory on Caseworthy of community resources, training providers, educational opportunities, and supportive services.
  • Provide training to community hub sites on career services, referral processes, and the GWH Connect Customer Portal.
  • Coordinate partner participation within the Community Hub.
  • Ensure community resources remain accurate, accessible, and relevant.
  • Work with internal teams to integrate Community Hub resources into workforce services and the customer portal.
  • Collect and analyze Community Hub utilization data and outcomes.
Workforce Access & Community Engagement
  • Expand workforce access by connecting participants with employment opportunities, job training, education programs, and supportive services.
  • Collaborate with WFD teams to increase participant access to resources.
  • Identify service gaps and recommend new partnerships to address unmet community needs.
  • Promote equitable access to workforce and supportive services throughout the communities served.
Program Coordination
  • Track partnership activity, referrals, participant engagement, and program outcomes.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on partnership development and Community Hub performance.
  • Monitor partnership goals and key performance indicators.
  • Assist with grant reporting and partnership documentation as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records within organizational data systems.
  • Work closely with Community & Volunteer Engagement staff to coordinate joint outreach efforts.
  • Collaborate with Career Centers and Workforce Development staff to align community partnerships with employment initiatives.
  • Support organizational events and special projects that advance Goodwill's mission.
  • Participate in strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as directed by management to support evolving organizational needs.

  • Adheres to local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
Minimum Qualifications
  • A bachelor’s degree in human services, public administration, business, communications, social work, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
