Job DescriptionLove your job and feel fulfilled as an In‑Home Care Registered Nurse. Family Tree Private Care is seeking full‑time, part‑time, and PRN Registered Nurses. We look for compassionate nurses with a passion for service, family values, and a true desire to help the elderly. Nursing positions come with flexible schedules and a warm, positive, supportive work environment.
Responsibilities- Travel to assigned patient’s homes and manage their care plan according to physician’s instructions.
- Assess and chart observations of the patient’s condition at each visit.
- Complete evaluation tasks, including reviewing medication and vital signs.
- Dress or redress wounds and assess the healing progress.
- Educate caregivers and family on the aftercare or ongoing care of the patient.
- Provide comfort through palliative care when appropriate.
- Recommend tools or devices that may improve the quality of life for the patient.
- Strong interpersonal skills for building rapport and providing high‑quality care.
- Initiative to make independent decisions when required and accept direction and requests from patients.
- Ability to follow instructions while acting independently when necessary.
- Excellent observational and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to act swiftly in emergencies and work efficiently.
- Flexibility and patience to work in a variety of living environments.
- Knowledge of clinical skills including changing bandages, tube feedings, administering injections, and setting up and monitoring IVs.
- Relevant license and certification.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working in the home‑care industry (or related industry such as hospice, home health, hospital).
