Job Summary
This is a part‑time, on‑site role for a Surgical Nurse located in Houston, TX. The Surgical Nurse will be responsible for assisting in surgical procedures, providing pre‑operative and post‑operative care to patients, maintaining a sterile and safe environment in the operating room, and ensuring that all procedures comply with medical and safety standards. They will work closely with surgeons and other medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes and support the delivery of high‑quality care.
Qualifications- Proficiency in Operating Room procedures and practices
- Strong background in Surgery and Medicine
- Experienced in Nursing and delivering comprehensive Patient Care
- Critical thinking and problem‑solving skills in high‑pressure situations
- Texas Nursing license in good standing
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Nursing
- Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) credential is a plus
