This successful provider should have 4-6 years of public health exposure to primary care and/or clinical experience in general medicine, infectious disease which includes STDs, STIs, HIV and Prep outpatient screenings and care..  

This well-organized group is both nationally and locally funded and boasts a great network of clinics and providers located throughout the Greater Houston area.
   
   The successful candidate must possess leadership and management capabilities and be able to provide the following:

· Conducts appropriate and timely patient care under physician supervision for general and defined patient populations.  Coordinates patient care between providers and medical teams. Diagnose and treat diseases, disorders and injuries based on patient?s medical history and results of physical assessment and refer patients to medical specialists or other practitioner for specialized treatment.
   
· Prescribe medications and therapies for treatment and preventive care.
   ·
· comprehensive physical assessment of patients, order or execute various tests, analyses, and diagnostic images to provide information on patient?s condition.
   
· serves on site committees and coordinates shared governance with Operations team and other committees as necessary.
