Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse – Nights

Specialty: RN – ICU / CVICU Start Date: 02/23/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Experience Required: 1+ year ICU (CV‑ICU required)

• Night‑shift ICU RN assignment
• High‑acuity cardiovascular ICU environment
• Must be comfortable with advanced cardiac support devices
• Floating required to CVIMU and Medical IMU
• Minimum 4 weekend shifts per month

• Unit Type: CVICU
• Beds: 22
• Staffing:
  • Days: 14 RNs, 1 Charge RN, 1 Tech
  • Nights: 14 RNs, 1 Charge RN, 1 Tech
• Ratios: 2:1 and 1:1 depending on acuity
• EMR: Meditech Expanse
• Equipment:
  • Ventilators
  • CRRT
  • Impella
  • ECMO

• Strong CV‑ICU background
• Ability to manage high‑acuity cardiac patients
• Proficiency with:
  • Ventilator management
  • Vasoactive drips
  • Post‑procedure cardiac care
• AHA BLS
• AHA ACLS

• Impella experience
• ECMO experience

• Intubation assistance
• Cannulation support
• Management of advanced cardiac devices
• Complex hemodynamic monitoring

• Must float to:
  • CVIMU
  • Medical IMU

• Scrub Color: Royal blue
• Professional appearance required

• Comfortable in high‑acuity, fast‑paced environments
