The Part-Time Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Gastroenterology provides patient-centered care under physician supervision in a clinical setting.
Responsibilities- Assess, diagnose, and manage gastrointestinal and liver conditions, interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications and therapies, educate patients on disease management, and collaborate with the healthcare team.
- Maintain accurate documentation, adhere to clinical and legal standards, and participate in quality initiatives.
Qualifications include a Master’s degree in Nursing, an active Texas NP license, national certification, and at least one year of NP experience, preferably in gastroenterology.
The role requires two 8-hour onsite shifts weekly, with potential additional hours, in a clinical environment. Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist patients is needed.
Candidates must be willing to relocate to Farwell, TX, before starting.
