Licensed Vocational Nurse Opportunity

West Oaks Hospital has provided psychiatric care to the Houston area and surrounding communities for over four decades. Our 176‑bed acute care facility is fully accredited and includes a 16‑bed residential treatment center for adult chemical dependency.

West Oaks Hospital is seeking a dynamic and talented Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team of compassionate, dedicated professionals. The LVN will provide direct patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse for adults, adolescents, children and geriatric patients with psychiatric and substance abuse conditions or as a House Supervisor. The LVN will manage each patient’s Plan of Care using the Nursing process, delegate tasks appropriately, pursue professional development, actively participate as a member of the multidisciplinary team, and perform duties as assigned.

• Education:
  
  Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensure and certification:
  Current Texas State Licensed Vocational Nurse license, CPR and hospital de‑escalation certifications.
• Experience:
  
  Two years of inpatient psychiatric nursing and/or medical/surgical experience.
