• Assess and manage patients in the emergency department
• Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests
• Develop and implement treatment plans
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Educate patients and their families on health management
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Respond to emergencies and provide critical care as needed

• Current NP or PA license in the state of Texas
• Associate degree in nursing or relevant field
• Experience in Emergency Medicine or acute care settings
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work effectively in a high-stress environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS) certifications preferred

Standard ER Procedures

Required:

Central lines, chest tubes, vents, etc.

EMR:
Cerner

Must be board-certified

ATLS, ACLS, and PALS required
