Registered Nurse (RN) Opportunity - Day Shift
West Oaks Hospital has provided psychiatric care to the Houston area and surrounding communities for over four decades. Our 176-bed acute care facility is fully accredited and includes a 16-bed residential treatment center for adult chemical dependency. We offer a broad range of behavioral health programs for children, adolescents and adults, with treatment at multiple levels of care including inpatient, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient.

Responsibilities andJob Duties
The RN will provide direct patient care under the direction of a Charge Nurse for adults, adolescents, children and geriatric patients with psychiatric and substance abuse conditions. Responsibilities include using the nursing process to manage the plan of care for each patient based on appropriate standards, policies and procedures. The RN also manages patient care by appropriately delegating duties to other nursing team members to assure optimal patient outcomes.

- Education:
Graduate of an accredited nursing school (ADN, Diploma or BSN). - Licensure & Certification:
Current Texas State Registered Nurse licensure; CPR and hospital de‑escalation certifications. - Experience:
None required. Preferred:
Two years of inpatient psychiatric nursing and/or medical/surgical experience.
