About the RoleCLS Health is seeking a motivated and compassionate Neurology Nurse Practitioner to join our expanding team. This position is an excellent opportunity for new graduates with a strong interest in neurology who want to grow within a supportive, collaborative clinical environment. Working under the supervision of the Medical Director, the Nurse Practitioner will assist in evaluating, diagnosing, and managing a wide range of neurological conditions among residents and staff.
Responsibilities- Conduct initial assessments for new residents with an emphasis on neurological health and orientation to available services.
- Provide care in an ambulatory clinic setting for patients with both acute and chronic neurological conditions (e.g., migraines, seizures, Parkinson’s disease, neuropathy).
- Perform follow-up visits, write prescriptions, and order and interpret diagnostic tests within scope of practice.
- Conduct minor office procedures under supervision when required.
- Coordinate referrals to neurologists and other specialists and ensure continuity of care.
- Complete physical exams, including neurological assessments and cognitive screening.
- Support patient and caregiver wellness through education sessions on topics such as chronic neurological disease management, stroke prevention, and coping strategies.
- Conduct staff health assessments, including pre‑employment physicals and post‑injury evaluations.
- Maintain accurate medical records and assist with tracking clinic utilization and patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with nurses, social workers, therapists, and physicians to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and serve on relevant clinical committees.
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with current state licensure.
