Registered Nurse Coordinator ED Throughput

Your role as RN Coordinator for ED Flow/Throughput involves ensuring patients move through the Emergency Department with clarity, clinical support, and thoughtful coordination.

• Coordinating patient placement, triage processes, EMS handoffs, and inpatient transfers
• Aligning staffing plans with patient volume, acuity, and department needs
• Monitoring delays in care transitions and collaborating on solutions
• Supporting safety priorities, experience initiatives, and quality outcomes
• Partnering with physicians, nurses, and care teams to remove barriers
• Providing clinical guidance, escalation support, and patient care when needed

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support
• Basic Cardiac Life Support
• Trauma Nursing Core Course
• Registered Nurse (RN)
• Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course, or PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support
• Associate degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
