Work Schedule: Full-Time, Onsite

Oversight: Clinical oversight provided by VA Nurse Manager or designated nursing leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality care to critically ill patients, including those requiring isolation or COVID-19 treatment.
- Perform advanced critical care procedures, including:
- Arterial line, hemodynamic, and central line monitoring.
- Mechanical ventilation management and ECG interpretation.
- Administration of vasoactive medications and thrombolytic therapy.
- Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT), Intra-Atrial Balloon Pump (IABP), and post-anesthesia recovery care.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop care plans.
- Administer medications, including IV and blood products.
- Perform wound care, tracheostomy care, ventilator care, and suctioning.
- Monitor vital signs and hemodynamic status.
- Provide patient and family education.
- Maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical records.
- Respond to emergencies and provide clinical oversight to support staff.
- Ensure compliance with PPE, hand hygiene, and BCMA protocols.

- Ensure accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Respond effectively to medical emergencies.
- Licensure: Current, unrestricted RN license in any U.S. state, territory, or the District of Columbia.
- Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA certified.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – AHA certified.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience, proficient in critical care procedures.
40-hour work week with flexible 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts, including day, evening, night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
BenefitsCompensation Details:
- Total Weekly Gross Package: $1,732
- Taxable Per Hour: $38.37 /hour
- Overtime Per Hour (Taxable): $57.55
- Hourly Fringe (Health and Welfare)/Company Benefits: $4.93 /hour ($197.20 /week)
