Oversight: Clinical oversight provided by VA Nurse Manager or designated nursing leadership.

• Deliver high-quality care to critically ill patients, including those requiring isolation or COVID-19 treatment.
• Perform advanced critical care procedures, including:
  • Arterial line, hemodynamic, and central line monitoring.
  • Mechanical ventilation management and ECG interpretation.
  • Administration of vasoactive medications and thrombolytic therapy.
  • Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT), Intra-Atrial Balloon Pump (IABP), and post-anesthesia recovery care.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Administer medications, including IV and blood products.
• Perform wound care, tracheostomy care, ventilator care, and suctioning.
• Monitor vital signs and hemodynamic status.
• Provide patient and family education.
• Maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical records.
• Respond to emergencies and provide clinical oversight to support staff.
• Ensure compliance with PPE, hand hygiene, and BCMA protocols.

• Licensure: Current, unrestricted RN license in any U.S. state, territory, or the District of Columbia.
• Certifications:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA certified.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – AHA certified.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience, proficient in critical care procedures.

40-hour work week with flexible 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts, including day, evening, night, weekend, and holiday shifts.

Compensation Details:

• Total Weekly Gross Package: $1,732
  • Taxable Per Hour: $38.37 /hour
  • Overtime Per Hour (Taxable): $57.55
  • Hourly Fringe (Health and Welfare)/Company Benefits: $4.93 /hour ($197.20 /week)
