Staff Nurse II - ACTAT-EP Heart- Memorial

The ACTAT‑EP Heart team at our Memorial City location is seeking an experienced Staff Nurse II to support a highly specialized, outpatient cardiology practice focused on advanced cardiac and electrophysiology care. This role offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule with no nights, weekends, or holidays, providing an excellent work‑life balance while delivering high‑quality patient care.

The RN II will partner closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical staff to coordinate and deliver comprehensive care for patients with complex cardiac conditions. Responsibilities include patient assessment, care coordination, clinical support for procedures and diagnostics, patient education, and ongoing collaboration across the care team to ensure safe, efficient, and patient‑centered outcomes.

• Acts as a patient and healthcare advocate by maintaining a safe environment and promoting quality healthcare and services.
• Respects and maintains privacy and confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines.
• Adheres to standards of practice for professional nursing.
• Acts as a clinical and leadership resource for team members.
• Develops and implements teaching plans concerning maintenance, promotion and restoration of health. Evaluates patients' responses and outcomes to education and therapeutic interventions.

• Registered Nurse (RN) State Licensure or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) by Texas Board of Nursing (BON) required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) by American Heart Association (AHA) required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) by American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.

• Bachelor's Degree in nursing from an accredited nursing school with one year nursing experience required.
• Associate's Degree in nursing from an accredited nursing school with three years nursing experience required.
• Nursing Diploma (3 year program) and two years nursing experience required.
• Years Of Experience Varies Based On Education Level Required.
