Nurse Practitioner

On e of the leading community organizations in Greater Houston is hiring full-time Family Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant (Preferable bilingual) for its clinics located in Greater Houston.

The Family Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant is a licensed independent practitioner who is responsible for managing health problems and coordinating health care for the patients attending Community Clinic in accordance with State and Federal rules and regulations and the nursing standards of care (assessment of health status, diagnosis, development of plan of care and treatment, implementation of treatment plan, and evaluation of patient status).

• Functions independently to perform age‑appropriate history and physical for complex acute, critical, and chronically ill patients in a Family practice clinic.
• Update patient records and check records for accuracy at each patient appointment
• Orders and interprets diagnostic and therapeutic tests relative to patient’s age‑specific needs.
• Prescribes appropriate pharmacologic and non‑pharmacologic treatment modalities
• Deliver quality care while maintaining all company metrics pertaining to productivity
• Serve as the resource patients need for ongoing care information, counseling and provide guidance for any patients with critical conditions
• Educate patients and families on medications, diseases, treatment plans, and procedures.
• Utilize internal and external resources to design, implement, and direct a plan of care for patients.

• Licensed Family Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant
• Minimum one‑year experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant.
