ScheduleDayshift leadership role. Hours vary based on departmental operational needs.
RoleManage daily operations of Operating Room department and perioperative workflows. Oversee staffing, scheduling, continuity of care, and departmental performance. Support recruitment, retention, development, and performance management of OR staff. Collaborate with physicians, leadership teams, and interdisciplinary departments to achieve organizational goals. Support process improvement, patient-centered outcomes, and quality initiatives. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and Texas Board of Nursing requirements. Maintain safe patient care operations while adhering to departmental budgetary and operational standards.
Provide direct patient care support and charge nurse coverage as operationally needed. Promote professional development, education, mentoring, and clinical competency growth among staff.

RequirementsBachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) REQUIRED. Current Texas RN license or compact license REQUIRED. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification REQUIRED. Minimum 3 years clinical Operating Room or related perioperative experience REQUIRED. Minimum 1 year supervisory or management experience REQUIRED. Strong leadership, staffing, and operational management skills REQUIRED. Experience with in acute care surgical environment REQUIRED. Professional certification in clinical area or management preferred.
Additional specialty certifications may be required based on department needs.
