Registered Nurse Prn

Location

Eagle's Trace by Erickson Senior Living, West Houston, Texas.

Hourly: $37.00 per hour.

• Develop relationships with residents and families, placing resident first.
• Perform all clinical duties in accordance with the state nurse practice act and nursing standards.
• Promote resident independence by establishing care goals and teaching residents/families about conditions, medication, and self‑care skills.
• Monitor clinical and care conditions to identify changes and act to ensure comfort and safety.
• Collaborate with care associates for routine nursing care as needed.
• Maintain infection prevention practices, administer medications, and perform treatments per orders.
• Develop and coordinate a comprehensive holistic plan of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Support resident preferences, routines, and choices in the electronic medical record.
• Ensure documentation is current, accurate, and timely.
• Participate in care conferences for designated residents as requested by the Clinical Manager.

• Minimum 6 months experience as an RN.
• Experience caring for seniors, preferably with cognitive impairment.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Internet, and web applications.
• Experience with electronic medical records preferred.
• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• CPR certification required.
• State regulations may impose additional requirements.
