As a Registered Nurse at HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest, you’llhaveallthestaffing support,technology and resources you need todeliver safe, high-quality care—so you can focus on what you do best.

As the RN Coordinator for ED Flow/Throughput, you will play a key role in ensuring patients move through the Emergency Department with clarity, clinical support, and thoughtful coordination. By aligning staffing, patient placement, and clinical resources, you’llhelp teams deliver care that is organized, safe, and patient‑centered. And in moments of urgency and complexity, your leadership will keep caregivers connected, supported, and focused on their mission to care for and improve human life.
Your role will include:
- Coordinating patient placement, triage processes, EMS handoffs, and inpatient transfers
- Aligning staffing plans with patient volume, acuity, and department needs
- Monitoring delays in care transitions and collaborating on solutions
- Supporting safety priorities, experience initiatives, and quality outcomes
- Partnering with physicians, nurses, and care teams to remove barriers
- Providing clinical guidance, escalation support, and patient care when needed
- Advanced Cardiac Life Spt
- Basic Cardiac Life Support
- Trauma Nursing Core Course
- (RN) Registered Nurse
- Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course, or PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt
- Associate degree Required, Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
