House Supervisor (RN) – Day Shift – 8:00 am to 8:00 pm
West Oaks Hospital seeks an experienced RN to supervise nursing staff during day shifts, ensuring quality patient care for adults, adolescents, and children.
Responsibilities- Provide leadership and direction to all RNs, LVNs, and Mental Health Technicians, offering clinical and administrative support throughout the shift.
- Implement interventions and maintain nursing department philosophy, goals, and objectives in line with professional practice.
- Uphold Standards of Care and ensure the facility meets staffing requirements during duty.
- Interpret and discuss administrative policies with staff, patients, and visitors when necessary.
- Facilitate completion of admissions paperwork and ensure patients are fully informed during the admission process.
- Collaborate with the on‑call pharmacist to supply medication for patient use per hospital policies and procedures.
- Respond to referral and inquiry calls, provide information on programs and services, and conduct assessments and medical screenings as required.

- Education:
Graduate of an accredited nursing school (ADN, Diploma, or BSN). - Licensure and Certification:
Current Texas State Registered Nurse license plus CPR and hospital de‑escalation certifications. - Experience:
Five years of inpatient psychiatric nursing and/or medical/surgical experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
