We are seeking a full‑time Clinical Supervisor, RN for night shifts. The Clinical Supervisor is authorized by the Chief Clinical Officer to assume overall responsibility for clinical nursing practice, ensuring quality care and adherence to nursing standards, serving as a resource and support for the nursing staff, and representing administration during events.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide continuity in decision‑making and consistency in nursing practice, ensuring nursing and hospital standards are met.
- Act as a resource and support person for the nursing staff.
- Represent administration during any event occurring in their absence.
- Embrace and demand a culture of professionalism and accountability.
- Foster a positive milieu and keep the CCO and CEO apprised of situations that may place the facility at risk.
- Provide direct patient care as required based on staffing and patient acuity.
- Communicate with physicians, CCO, and co‑workers about changes in patient’s clinical condition and respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
- Current Texas Registered Nurse Licensure.
- ICU/critical‑care experience.
- Supervisory nursing/Charge Nurse experience preferred.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification.
- Ability to communicate effectively and positively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Additional languages desirable.
- Basic computer knowledge.
