Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Nursing Manager, you will be a dynamic leader, guiding and empowering our nursing team to deliver exceptional patient‑centered care through continuous growth and operational excellence.
Every day, you will lead and mentor Registered Nurses, oversee clinical operations, advocate for patient and team needs, drive professional development, and achieve unit goals.
To be successful, you will embody accountability and confidence, possess superior communication skills, and navigate challenges to ensure individual performance and overall unit success.
- Support and actualize the Division of Nursing philosophy and goals, leading program development and implementation.
- Develop staff for leadership roles, both formally and informally, via role modeling and facilitating participation in shared governance.
- Facilitate development and implementation of solutions to problems.
- Create effective communication channels and hold at least one unit meeting per month, posting minutes and notices.
- Lead orientation of new employees, evaluate programs affecting staff, and maintain an identified council structure with an elected Staff Nurse Professional Practice Council, conducting monthly council meetings and incorporating new knowledge and skills.
Required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing and 3 years of leadership experience, upon hire or
- Master’s or other higher degree, upon hire
- Registered Nurse license in TX, upon hire
- Basic Life Support – CPR certification within 14 days.
- Clinical leadership experience in the discipline.

$56.13 – $83.49 per hour
