Memorial Hermann Texas Medical Center, Level I Trauma, Magnet & Academic Teaching Hospital, is seeking a full‑time Registered Nurse to support our VIP Signature Suites on the day shift.
VIP Signature Suites- Provides care for a mixed acuity of priority VIP patients and spine patients in a secure, home‑like environment.
- 3‑4:1 patient‑to‑nurse ratio.
- 1+ year of acute hospital experience in Med Surg or Med Surg/telehealth required.

Minimum Qualifications- Graduated from an accredited nursing school; a Bachelor of Nursing preferred.
- Current State of Texas license or temporary/compact license to practice professional nursing.
- Certification in Basic Life Support.
- Additional certifications may be required based on discipline and unit requirements.
- RN level:
- I < 1 year
- II 1‑3 years
- III 3‑10 years
- IV 10+ years
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Delivers safe and appropriate care to patients based on nursing skill inventory and patient needs.
- Coordinates care planning with an interdisciplinary team, administering appropriate clinical decisions.
- Collaborates with, directs, and may delegate to the healthcare team to achieve positive outcomes based on data, research, and professional standards.
- Coordinates treatment plans; develops and implements discharge and/or transfer plans.
- Participates in a systemic, interdisciplinary evaluation of programs, process improvement, and client‑centered outcomes.
- Considers diverse patient needs throughout the continuum of care, ensuring the highest level of service and optimizing the patient experience.
- Adheres to all regulatory and Texas Board of Nursing standards.
- Ensures safe care for patients, staff, and visitors while adhering to Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and budgetary specifications.
- Promotes professional growth by meeting education and competency requirements; may serve as preceptor, mentor, and resource to less experienced staff.
- Demonstrates commitment to caring for every member of our community by creating compassionate and personalized experiences and modeling Memorial Hermann’s service standards.
