Memorial Hermann Texas Medical Center, Level I Trauma, Magnet & Academic Teaching Hospital, is seeking a full‑time Registered Nurse to support our VIP Signature Suites on the day shift.

• Provides care for a mixed acuity of priority VIP patients and spine patients in a secure, home‑like environment.
• 3‑4:1 patient‑to‑nurse ratio.
• 1+ year of acute hospital experience in Med Surg or Med Surg/telehealth required.

• Graduated from an accredited nursing school; a Bachelor of Nursing preferred.
• Current State of Texas license or temporary/compact license to practice professional nursing.
• Certification in Basic Life Support.
• Additional certifications may be required based on discipline and unit requirements.
• RN level:
  • I < 1 year
  • II 1‑3 years
  • III 3‑10 years
  • IV 10+ years
• Effective oral and written communication skills.

• Delivers safe and appropriate care to patients based on nursing skill inventory and patient needs.
• Coordinates care planning with an interdisciplinary team, administering appropriate clinical decisions.
• Collaborates with, directs, and may delegate to the healthcare team to achieve positive outcomes based on data, research, and professional standards.
• Coordinates treatment plans; develops and implements discharge and/or transfer plans.
• Participates in a systemic, interdisciplinary evaluation of programs, process improvement, and client‑centered outcomes.
• Considers diverse patient needs throughout the continuum of care, ensuring the highest level of service and optimizing the patient experience.
• Adheres to all regulatory and Texas Board of Nursing standards.
• Ensures safe care for patients, staff, and visitors while adhering to Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and budgetary specifications.
• Promotes professional growth by meeting education and competency requirements; may serve as preceptor, mentor, and resource to less experienced staff.
• Demonstrates commitment to caring for every member of our community by creating compassionate and personalized experiences and modeling Memorial Hermann’s service standards.
