Job Summary and Qualifications
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Recovery to provide high‑quality, efficient care for surgical patients in the post‑anesthesia period at Texas Orthopedic Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare. This role requires a compassionate nurse who applies critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to deliver safe nursing care.
What You Will Do In Your Role- Care for and manage surgical patients in the post‑anesthesia period.
- Apply the nursing process, critical thinking, scientific judgment, technical skills, and leadership to independently deliver safe nursing care.
- Collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes.
- Provide communication, confidence, and professionalism through active engagement in unit and organizational activities.
- Demonstrate teamwork, adaptability, and serve as a resource to the patient care team.
- Be accountable for delivering quality nursing care services and for promoting a positive image of nursing.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (BSN preferred).
- At least 1 year of clinical experience as an RN in a Recovery Room setting.
- Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Texas or a Multi‑State Compact license (must obtain a Texas RN license within 90 days of hire).
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
