RN Charge Nurse

Overview

aQua Dialysis Clear Lake is seeking a full-time Charge Nurse. We offer an outstanding work environment with a team dedicated to improving the lives of our patients. An ideal candidate has experience as a dialysis charge nurse.

Our facility is open 6 days per week (closed Sundays) and typical hours are 10‑hour days with an early shift starting at 4:30 am. Full‑time is 3–4 days per week with alternate weekends off.

• Assess patient needs, respond to dialysis treatments, and communicate concerns to the rounding physician.
• Implement changes in patient care/treatment as directed.
• Communicate with the physician and other members of the healthcare team to interpret, adjust, and complete patient care plans.
• Provide safe and effective delivery of patient care in compliance with facility policy and procedure, and regulations set forth by the company, state, and federal agencies.
• Maintain overall shift operation in a safe, efficient, and effective manner, monitoring and supervising all patient care activity during dialysis and assisting as necessary.
• Ensure educational needs of patients are met and educate the patient and family about End Stage Renal Disease, dialysis therapy, diet, and medication.

• Current Texas RN license and CPR required.
• Experience as a dialysis charge nurse.
