Job Summary
As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high‑quality care that truly impacts our patients' well‑being and recovery. Responsibilities- Assessment:
Admit and continuously assess patients’ condition, provide nursing care to meet physical, psychological and spiritual needs, and notify doctors of changes requiring attention. - Planning:
Design, direct, evaluate and document care plans, provide family education, and coordinate safe discharge, working with other disciplines to meet specialized needs. - Implementation:
Prepare patients physically, psychologically, and spiritually for treatments and procedures, maintain patient safety initiatives and protocols, and report significant changes. - Evaluation:
Reassess patients at appropriate intervals, notify physicians as needed, and adjust care to meet emerging needs. - Report
Skills:
Give and receive bedside shift reports, include family participation, and delegate tasks to sustain continuity of care. - Environment & Patient Safety:
Maintain a safe work environment, promptly remove used equipment and soiled linen, and report all safety hazards immediately.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- At least one year of RN experience, upon hire
- Registered Nurse license in Texas, upon hire
- Basic Life Support (CPR) with a current certification within 14 days
- Demonstrated competence in Registered Nurse I performance expectations or meets experience requirements upon hire
