Job Summary
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Pre‑Admit Testing for our facility. The role ensures that patients receive high quality, efficient care. The RN will be part of a team dedicated to supporting each other and delivering safe nursing care.
Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients admitted for surgical or diagnostic procedures.
- Gather history information, perform physical assessments, and reconcile medication.
- Apply the nursing process, critical thinking, scientific judgment, technical skills, and leadership to independently deliver safe nursing care.
- Collaborate with patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes.
- Provide communication, confidence, and professionalism; engage in unit and organizational activities.
- Demonstrate teamwork, adaptability, and serve as a resource to the patient care team.
- Maintain accountability for delivering quality nursing care services and promoting a positive nursing image.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience as RN in Day Surgery/Pre‑Op setting (or 1 year medical/surgical acute care).
- Current Registered Nurse License in Texas or Multi‑State Compact License (must obtain Texas RN license within 90 days).
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred.
- Comprehensive medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, behavioral health, and telemedicine services.
