Full-Time Positions: 1 Shift: Split / Evening Shift (Night coverage required) Full Time Night Shift Availability Required – Candidates must be available to work full time night shifts exclusively. Please note that no day shift positions, transfers, or promotional or Part time opportunities are currently available. Only applicants seeking night shift roles will be considered. The RN Clinical Manager – Operating Room is responsible for leading daily operations of the OR department, ensuring high-quality patient care, staff management, and operational efficiency.
This role oversees multiple surgical service lines including Neuro, Plastics, Ortho, and ENT, while managing a team of RNs, techs, and coordinators across evening, weekend, and night shifts.
Leadership & Operations
- Oversee daily OR operations and patient care delivery
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and department workflow
- Serve as charge nurse and provide direct patient care as needed
Clinical & Quality Management
- Ensure high-quality patient outcomes and safety standards
- Drive performance improvement initiatives
- Maintain compliance with regulatory and hospital standards
Staff Management & Development
- Recruit, train, and retain nursing staff
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback
- Support professional growth and competency development
Collaboration & Coordination
- Partner with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Support strategic initiatives and organizational goals
- Ensure seamless patient care across departments
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure adherence to Texas Board of Nursing regulations
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and procedures
- Promote safe and efficient patient care practices
• Active Texas RN License or Compact RN License (Required)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN Required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS Certification)
• Minimum 2+ years OR acute care experience
• Minimum 3+ years OR management experience
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Must be open to full-time evening/night shift
• Experience in Magnet-designated hospitals
• Professional certification in clinical or leadership area
• Experience managing multiple surgical specialties
