Registered Nurse – PICU

$1591.20/week –

Job Summary:

Provide expert critical care nursing services to pediatric patients in the PICU. Deliver high-quality patient care while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor pediatric patients’ conditions, identifying changes and escalating concerns appropriately.
• Implement and evaluate patient care plans based on medical orders and clinical protocols.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures such as chest tube management, lumbar punctures, and seizure management.
• Document patient progress accurately in the electronic medical record system.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare team members to coordinate care.
• Ensure compliance with unit policies, safety standards, and certifications at all times.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license with at least 1 year of pediatric critical care experience.
• Valid BLS and PALS certifications; ACLS preferred.
• Demonstrate strong clinical skills in neuro, ortho, thoracic, and general surgical cases.
• Supportive, collaborative personality suited for a team environment.
• Ability to manage high-acuity pediatric patients effectively and efficiently.
