Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Job Summary:

Provide high-quality emergency nursing care in a fast-paced emergency department setting. Responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing patient care to ensure safety and optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions upon arrival and prioritize care based on acuity levels.
• Implement emergency procedures including IV starts, blood draws, and resuscitation efforts.
• Administer medications and treatments following established protocols.
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record system.
• Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary team members and patients’ families.
• Adhere to unit policies, guidelines, and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 1 year of acute emergency room experience.
• Current certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC.
• Ability to perform complex procedures such as intubation, EKG, and trauma interventions.
• Strong critical thinking, active communication skills, and personable demeanor.
