We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical/Surgical Transplant Unit. This role is ideal for a nurse with a strong background in surgical and med/surg care who is ready to take the next step in their career. You'll be part of a highly skilled team caring for abdominal transplant patients, including fresh kidney and liver transplant recipients, as well as urology and transplant rejection patients transitioning from ICU or PACU.

Required:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of [State Name]
• Minimum 3 years of recent Med/Surg experience
• Experience caring for post-surgical and/or transplant patients
• Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Demonstrated leadership experience (charge nurse or team lead preferred)
• BLS and ACLS certifications (must be current)

Preferred:

• Prior experience in abdominal transplant or urology patient care
• BSN degree (required within a specified timeframe if ADN)
• Specialty certification (e.g., CMSRN, CCRN, or Transplant Certification)
• Experience precepting or mentoring new nurses

As part of our Med/Surg Transplant team, you'll manage a diverse and rewarding patient population, including fresh post-op transplant recipients and complex surgical cases. Each shift offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with surgeons, transplant coordinators, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure seamless, high-quality care. Our nurses typically work three 12-hour shifts per week. Weekend and holiday rotations are equitably distributed among team members to support work-life balance.
