Job Description:
The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) is a specialized unit with 14 beds dedicated to critically ill pediatric patients. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care to pediatric patients and their families, assisting in various medical procedures and routine care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to PICU and pediatric patients.
- Monitor vital signs and implement medical orders.
- Assist with moderate sedation procedures.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Support families through education and emotional care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- Experience with pediatric patients, particularly in critical care settings, is essential.
- Pediatric congenital heart experience preferred.
