Shifts: Nights 7PM - 7AM
Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated RN specializing in Neonatal Intensive Care (Level 2 NICU) for a travel assignment in San Marcos, TX. This role involves working within a dynamic clinical environment, providing both routine and complex nursing care, with a focus on long-term patient care strategies. The successful candidate may occasionally be required to float to mother/baby as needed.

- Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
- Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
- Administer medications and treatments according to protocol; monitor for side-effects and treatment effectiveness.
- Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided.
- Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
- 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred.
- Current STABLE certification (Post-resuscitation/Pre-transport Stabilization Care of Sick Infants).
- Current BLS certification (AHA only).
- Current NRP certification required.
- RN License in the state of TX or compact.
