Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry / Neurology

Houston, TX | Acute Care

Contract | Days | Every Other Weekend (EOW) Required | No Self-Scheduling

• Provide direct patient care with a focus on Neurology, Stroke, Neurosurgery, and Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) patients
• Manage and monitor patients requiring cardiac drips as part of float coverage across units
• Float to other units as needed within a busy, large-volume Level 1 Trauma facility
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC EMR
• Adhere to assigned scheduling requirements, including every-other-weekend commitments

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• EPIC EMR proficiency required
• Experience with cardiac drips required
• Must be open and willing to float to other units as needed
• Must be flexible with scheduling; no self-scheduling available
• Every-other-weekend (EOW) availability required

• 3 or more years of RN experience, particularly in a high-acuity or high-volume hospital setting
• Previous travel nursing experience
• Background in Neurology, Stroke, Neurosurgery, or EMU care

• Opportunity to work in a high-acuity Level 1 Trauma environment with a diverse and complex patient population
