Program Overview
Are you a vet student looking for some real‑world experience? We’ve got it for you! Whether you’re in your 1st or 4th year, we would love to have you for a few days or 2 weeks to show you what independent veterinary practice can be like. Our practice typically sees 40–60 doctor appointments daily, plus surgeries, ensuring you’ll be exposed to a variety of cases.
WhatYou’ll Experience
- Hands‑on learning:
Physical exams, diagnosis, lab interpretation, surgery, record keeping, and client communications. - Mentorship:
Work with each of our vets to learn different approaches and ask all your questions. - Diverse experiences:
Small animals, reptiles, small mammals, and birds. - Housing:
Available. - A stipend:
Yes, we’ll pay you for your work. - A great location:
Located just south of Dallas, an easy drive into the Metroplex.
Must be enrolled in a Doctorate of Veterinarian Medicine program.
