Position Overview
A well-established small animal hospital in West Houston is seeking a compassionate Part-Time General Practice Veterinarian to join a collaborative and well-supported clinical team. This role offers the opportunity to practice high-quality medicine in a modern facility with advanced diagnostics, efficient workflows, and a loyal client base.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive medical care for dogs and cats
- Perform wellness exams, preventive care, and vaccinations
- Diagnose and manage medical conditions
- Perform routine soft tissue surgeries and dental procedures
- Develop treatment plans and educate clients on patient care
- Utilize in-house diagnostics and advanced imaging tools
- Recently renovated, 6,000 sq. ft. small animal facility
- Experienced support staff and team-oriented culture
- Strong focus on patient-centered care and client education
- Balanced caseload with long-term client relationships
- DVM degree
- Eligibility for veterinary licensure in Texas
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Interest in surgery, dentistry, and preventive care
- Team-oriented and compassionate approach to medicine
