Forget everything you think you know about grooming. We are a wellness-focused dog care concept — which means that our primary goal is to keep dogs clean and healthy. All dogs need routine care, but the majority of dogs don’t need a haircut, and many don’t need a blow-dry. For this reason, we separate our services into three parts — essentials, blow-outs and haircuts.

This allows customers to choose the services that best suit the needs of their dog. It’s our objective, here at Scenthound, to educate as many dog parents as possible on the importance of basic hygiene and routine grooming. We focus on the five core areas that all dogs need care:
Skin, Coat, Ears, Nails, Teeth (it's in the name)

The Dog Bather is a fundamental position at Scenthound, offering quick and efficient services that meet Scenthound standards.

• Strength to lift up to 70 pounds; stamina to stand for long periods of time

We are searching for an experinced and detail-oriented team member who has a passion for keeping dogs clean and healthy! A successful Dog Bather is resilient, perceptive, patient, adaptable, and a compassionate dog lover!

• Bathe, blow dry, clip/ grind nails, clean ears, brush coat, clean teeth, express glands
• Identify the dog’s health indicators and input them into a S.C.E.N.T. Check app
• Clean and/ or prep dogs for grooming, according to the order ticket
• Work on a team to complete the services ordered
• Assist others/ Ask others for assistance when needed to keep Scenter on schedule
• Ensure the safety of dogs and team members at all times
• Adhere to Scenthound sanitary and cleaning practices
• Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by the Scenter Manager
