Kennel Technician - $12/hr | Fur Paws LLC | Houston, TX
Fur Paws LLC in Houston, TX is looking for one Kennel Technician to join our team.
We are located at 5004 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77007.
Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, and hard-working with a genuine passion for dogs.
Pay$12/hr, W-2, Direct Deposit every two weeks.
Responsibilities- Providing food and water to animals according to a set schedule
- Supervising animals and picking up after them
- Playing with or supervising animals in play areas
- Cleaning and disinfecting kennel facilities, equipment and other items
- Checking boarded animals in and out
- Administering medications
- Monitoring health and behavior and reporting concerns
- Must have experience working with dogs - required
- Understanding of dog body language and safe handling
- Able to lift 50 lbs, stand/walk for entire shift, and work outdoors in Texas heat
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Must be 18+ with reliable transportation
- Weekend and holiday availability required
