LINK Staffing is looking for a Risk & Safety Coordinator who is eager to learn, enjoys solving problems, and wants to make an impact. WhatYou'll Do Safety & Loss Control
- Conduct client site safety inspections and risk assessments.
- Investigate workplace accidents and identify root causes.
- Recommend corrective actions to reduce future incidents.
- Promote OSHA compliance and a strong safety culture.
- Serve as a safety resource for branch teams and clients.
- Support workers' compensation claims from injury through resolution.
- Submit First Reports of Injury and maintain claims documentation.
- Coordinate with adjusters, healthcare providers, and internal teams.
- Participate in claim review meetings and return-to-work efforts.
- Assist with certificates of insurance and workers' compensation classifications.
- Support insurance compliance and risk management initiatives.
- Help maintain safety and insurance documentation.
- Deliver employee safety orientations and ongoing training.
- Assist with company-wide safety awareness initiatives.
- Support Safety Committee meetings and field safety programs.
- Answer safety-related questions from branch offices and client sites.
- Track safety metrics and workers' compensation trends.
- Prepare reports and maintain accurate safety records.
- Support multiple LINK branches and client locations.
- Travel approximately 25% throughout the Houston area for inspections, training, and client support.
- 2–4 years of experience in Safety, EHS, Occupational Safety, Risk Management, or a related field
- Experience conducting safety inspections, audits, and incident investigations
- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn
- The ability to build relationships with employees, clients, and leadership
- Ability to travel throughout the Houston area
Candidates with any of the following are encouraged to apply:
- EMT, Paramedic, Firefighter, Military Medic, or Emergency Response experience
- Workers' compensation or claims management experience
- Manufacturing, industrial, construction, logistics, or staffing experience
- OSHA 30 Certification
- Bachelor's degree in Safety Management, Occupational Health & Safety, Risk Management, or a related field
