Harris Health is seeking an Anatomic Pathology Supervisor to lead laboratory operations at Lyndon

B. Johnson Hospital
. In this leadership role, you will supervise the daily operations and performance of the Histology, Cytology, Transcription, Morgue, and Frozen Section areas while ensuring the delivery of high-quality laboratory services.

You will also perform bench duties as needed while mentoring staff and supporting continuous process improvement to ensure accurate and timely pathology services.

• Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology, Histotechnology, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field
• Licensure/Certification:
  • ASCP certification as one of the following:
  • Histotechnologist (HTL)
  • Histotechnician (HT)
  • Cytotechnologist (CT)
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Histotechnician, Histotechnologist, or Cytotechnologist
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience
    , including:
  • Staff scheduling
  • Performance management
  • Variance reporting
