- Performance Improvement Coordinator responsibilities include supporting Life Gift in improving clinical and operational performance. The coordinator will work across organ and tissue departments and use lean performance improvement methodology.

• Ensure work is completed using lean philosophy and principles.
• Support planning, set-up, execution, and follow-up of PI events and projects.
• Assist in writing reports, analyzing data, and creating data displays to support decisions on PI projects.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, management, client groups, and others to develop methods to monitor and report process improvement.
• Assist in developing presentations and documents that use data to tell a compelling story.
• Assist in analysis and identification of improvement opportunities; recommend and implement solutions.
• Execute time studies, process observations, and other activities to support PI decision-making.
• Lead tiger teams by evaluating, diagnosing, and recommending improvements in collaborative projects.

Qualifications:

• Degree in a relevant field from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of work experience in healthcare QAPI or related performance improvement. Prefer experience with Performance Improvement projects.
