This position reports to:
Quality & Operational Excellence Leader
In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to improving performance in one or more group-wide core Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) programs. Each day, you will support HSE Function Program Managers by applying specialist knowledge with the aim of offering solutions and advice to cultivate a high-performance culture with a strong focus on HSE. You will also showcase your expertise by assisting in the delivery of HSE program plans.

Houston, TX; #Li-Hybrid
Your role and responsibilities:
- Collecting, analyzing, and reporting the performance to the relevant stakeholders, utilizing HSE Key Performance Indicators.
- Supporting the delivery of annual plans and implementation of HSE objectives within your assigned area of responsibility.
- Supporting and driving behavioral change to continuously improve HSE performance through coordinated core programs and initiatives.
- Facilitating the sharing of best practices and applies standardized processes globally to deliver consistent HSE support.

Qualifications for the role:
- Strong working knowledge of HSE frameworks, OSHA standards, and compliance requirements
- Experience with HSE pre-screening processes and documentation
- Process-driven with the ability to standardize and scale HSE practices across a large group
- Strategic thinker - able to understand day-to-day HSE operations while keeping the bigger picture in mind
- Exceptional soft skills - strong influence, communication, and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-growing, dynamic environment
- Both strong hard skills (technical HSE knowledge) and soft skills (people, influence, collaboration)
- Alignment with ABB Way values and operational standards
- Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
