Senior Project Manager

Want to lead major pharmaceutical CAPEX projects and have a real impact on the future of a world-class manufacturing site?

We’re supporting a globally recognised pharmaceutical organisation looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their team in Houston, Texas.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of high-value, complex manufacturing projects, working across engineering, construction, CQV, quality and operations to deliver projects from concept and design through construction, commissioning, qualification and final handover.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead major CAPEX projects within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering, construction, CQV, quality and operations teams.
  • Own project schedules, budgets, risks, reporting and stakeholder management.
  • Drive projects safely, on schedule, within budget and in line with GMP and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage relationships with contractors, suppliers, internal teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Contribute to wider site investment and manufacturing expansion programmes.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong Project Management experience within pharma, biotech, life sciences or highly regulated manufacturing.
  • Proven track record delivering significant CAPEX / engineering projects.
  • Strong understanding of GMP, clean rooms, CQV and regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Experience managing complex multidisciplinary teams and external contractors.
  • Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.

This is more than a standard project management role - you’ll have the opportunity to lead significant investment projects, influence manufacturing infrastructure and play a key role in the future development of a major pharmaceutical site in Houston.
